Ansdell School uniform is available to buy at Top Marque in St Anne's.

 All uniform items are required to be worn unless indicated as 'Optional'

Uniform—Reception Class and Year 1

White polo shirt

School jumper or cardigan

Tailored grey (not black) skirt, trousers, shorts or pinafore dress

Grey socks or tights

Uniform—Year 2 to Year 6

From Year 2 onwards, as above with the polo shirt replaced with a tailored shirt and Ansdell School tie.  

Summer Uniform (Optional during Summer Term and Autumn Term 1)

Gingham dress within the colour range pink to maroon. (Play suits, separate gingham skirts and tops are not acceptable).

White socks may be worn with the summer dress

Footwear

Black shoes with a sensible heel to ensure pupils’ safety.  Sandals, fashion shoes, knee or ankle length  boots are not considered appropriate footwear for school.  Younger pupils are encouraged to wear shoes with a Velcro fastening.

PE Uniform:

School PE T-Shirt

School PE hoodie (optional) or school jumper/cardigan

Maroon PE shorts or

Unbranded Plain black jogging bottoms/school jogging bottoms or plain black leggings

Black pumps or plain black trainers (no high tops or fashion leisure shoes please)

 

Bags

Bookbags or a bag small enough to fit into a desk tray (no rucksacks or backpacks)

Hair

During term time, children are asked not to wear fashion hairstyles which include shaved, dyed, tramlines or Mohawks.  Hair longer than shoulder length must be completely tied back with a neutral, discreet hair tie or bobble.  No large party-style bows or headbands.

Jewellery

No jewellery should be worn in school.  A watch and plain, stud earrings are acceptable.  However, pupils must remove earrings in order to participate in PE lessons.  If you are considering having your child’s ears pierced, please do so at the beginning of the school summer holiday to avoid your child missing out on PE lessons.

Nails

Nail varnish, temporary tattoos and other cosmetics must not be worn for school.
