Year 3 Cousteau
Welcome to Cousteau Class - Year 3
Cousteau class is taught by Miss Martin. She is supported by Mrs G Bain.
In Year 3, our class explorer is Jacques Cousteau, a famous ocean explorer and inventor. He helped people learn about the sea in exciting ways. Jacques invented the Aqua-Lung, which let divers breathe underwater for a long time. This invention had a big impact because it made it easier for scientists to explore the ocean and discover sea life. He also filmed the ocean so people could see its amazing wonders. Jacques travelled on his boat, the Calypso, and was known for wearing a red hat. He helped the world understand why we should protect our oceans.
