Our School Day
We begin our school day by greeting each other on the playground and our teachers are ready to meet our pupils as they arrive at school. The school gates are opened at 8:30am and a member of the Senior Leadership Team will be on the playground from this time. The doors open at 8:40am. Children should make their way inside at this time and should be inside the building by 8:45am ready for the day to begin.
Our official start time is 8:45am and our school finish time is 3:15pm each day. This totals 32.5 hours per week.

Lunch Times
Lunch times are happy and busy at Ansdell. We enjoy sitting together and having time to chat with friends.
A sports coach from AFC Fylde leads lunchtime games across the school and Reception Class participates in daily Fundamental Movements Skills activities.
Afternoons at Ansdell
EYFS and KS1 begin their afternoon at 1:00pm. The KS2 afternoon begins at 1:15pm

At the end of the day, our teachers come out onto the playground with the children so that we can catch up with parents and see everyone home safely.
We have lots of after school clubs and activities and APS Extra offers after school child care. Information is sent out over the year to inform parents of the clubs on offer.
